It Finally Arrived . . . The Spiderman Slip & Slide

Scott's mother (aka "Mammy") ordered Lance a Spiderman Slip & Slide back in the spring. Well, it has been on backorder for over 4 months. For about 2 months, Lance would run in the door each afternoon when we got home and check the front porch for a package. He couldn't wait to get the Spiderman slide in!

Lance spent the night with Nana & Papa last night (to let me catch up on my sleep from VBS). This morning, the doorbell rang around 11:00 and Scott went to the door. Finally, it had arrived!!! Scott went outside to mow the yard so that he could set up the slide before Lance came home. Lance was so excited when he saw his Spiderman Slip & Slide. He had a blast laying in the "mini pool", stepping on the sprinklers, and slippin'/slidin'!!! Thanks Mammy for the slide! Lance loves it! He says he is going to "swim" in it everyday and even passed up an opportunity to go to the swimming pool . . . so it is definitely a BIG HIT!
