Family on the Fourth

Chris, Stefanie, and Morgan came to Batesville to spend the fourth! We had a wonderful time . . . it is so great to have them back in the USA! Lance and Morgan had a blast together. Morgan was Lance's "little shadow" which he didn't mind at all.

For the fourth, everyone came to our house. Scott is into grilling now so he fixed a huge dinner on the fourth. Then Scott and Chris shot fireworks with the kids. Lance and Morgan threw smoke bombs. Of course, Lance had to get out all his army gear to run through the smoke. The boys (the big boys - Chris & Scott) got a little wild with the fireworks. Dad borrowed Lance's helmet to keep safe. If you can't tell, we were all having a fun time!

We all went swimming while Scott and Chris played golf. Morgan and Lance wore Nana out taking turns jumping off the side for her to catch them. While we were swimming, we found two frogs in the skimmer. We took one home with us. We named him Hopper. Morgan loved him! He is now part of the Pinkston family. Lance took him to show and tell at school yesterday. Needless to say we enjoyed having Chris and his family in . . . I wish time didn't fly so quickly. We miss them already!
