Lance Turns 6

For the first time, we had a "family" birthday party for Lance. Typically, we have one birthday party which includes family and friends but this year we had to have two parties. We had his family birthday party on his actual birthday, November 12th. Lance wanted a SpongeBob Squarepants party!

He had a blast at school . . . got to wear a birthday crown, got a gift from Ms. Patricia, and had "Happy Birthday" sung to him. He then went to King's Kids at our church after he got out of school.

We had all the family over at 6:00. Scott's grandparents, Karen, and Sara all came to celebrate Lance's birthday. My parents, Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Joe Don, Maggie, Susan, and Mia all came from my side of the family. Lance and Mia had a lot of fun playing with balloons. After Lance opened his presents, he and Sara had fun coloring and drawing. Lance loved his cake and all of his presents. I think he was mostly excited that he was getting to have two birthday parties this year! I think he had a pretty exciting birthday!
