To celebrate the end of the school year, Lance's school had their annual Field Day. I was able to spend the morning with the kindergarten classes. They started the day playing in the gym. Then they played a game of BINGO. After that we headed outside, the first game involved trying to knock a paper crown off of another child's head with a swimming noodle. It was pretty funny! Then the kids played "Duck, Duck, Goose" but with a twist. They were to cover their eyes. The person who was IT would sprinkle water on each kid. When he choose "the goose", he would dump a bucket of water on top of the child's head. It was hilarious! The kids were great sports about it too! The last game I got to watch involved a relay race. They had to work as a team to get to a bucket on the other end. Then the leader would squeeze a sponge full of water on his or her head. As you can see, they did a little more than that! It was a really neat end to a great year at Sulphur Rock!
